Beaty Butte Wild Horses
A cooperative agreement between BLM and the Beaty Butte Wild Horse Training Facility, a non-profit organization, was created in efforts to resolve over population of Wild Horses in the Beaty Butte area. Horses removed from the wild herd are trained by experienced horsemen and women from the Adel community to provide quality mustangs for adoption while reducing or potentially eliminating the number of Beaty Butte wild horses cared for in permanent off-range holding. All wild horses that enter the Beaty Butte Horse Training Facility can be adopted at any time. However, application process is required. Most horses are ready for adoption after 30-60 days of training at our facility.
