The mission of Herd U Needed A Home Rescue is to provide displaced and at risk herding dogs in the Pacific Northwest with the opportunity to find loving, appropriate forever homes. If you are struggling with your herding breed, or looking for a rescue herding dog, check in with HUNAH.

Lake County Library District
Lake County Libraries provide inviting community spaces to nurture young readers, explore stories and information, and connect with others. The Lake County Library District consists of the Main Library in Lakeview, and branches in Paisley, Christmas Valley and Silver Lake. The Lake County Libraries provide free public library services to all residents living within Lake County.
Lake County Junior Rodeo
The Lake County Junior Rodeo is a 1 day rodeo August with an average of 90 to 100 contestants. It is organized by the Lake County Junior Rodeo Association, a nonprofit group of volunteers whose goal is to put on a rodeo for local area and regional youth.

Lake County Round-Up
The Lake County Round-Up is held in conjunction with the Lake County Fair every Labor Day weekend. The Round-Up features a variety of PRCA and Ranch Rodeo events as well as events for kids. The Round Up Association also provides live music events and coordinates horse entries for the Labor Day Parade.

IN AN EMERGENCY, DIAL 911. The Lake County Sheriff's Office is the primary criminal law enforcement agency for Lake County. Crimes against persons, property, and animals may be reported to the Sheriff’s Department.

Beaty Butte Wild Horses
A cooperative agreement between BLM and the Beaty Butte Wild Horse Training Facility, a non-profit organization, was created in efforts to resolve over population of Wild Horses in the Beaty Butte area by training removed horses for adoption. Beaty Butte Wild Horse Training Facility is located in Adel. All wild horses can be adopted at any time. Application process is required.
